Knowledge is so important and because many people have no clue about the medical benefits of smoking marijuana or eating it, people are in the dark. Alcohol is the cause of many deaths whether by drunk drivers, alcohol poisoning or violence fueled by alcohol. But thats legal?? As I said, knowledge is the key. If the government is able to regulate distribution, make profits, and provide statistical awareness of the effects of marijuana then it will be up to the individual to choose as it is with alcohol and cigarettes. Not to mention the insane amount of prescription drugs out there that are just as much drugs and used by addicts. Im all for it. Just think if your loved one had cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy, if pot helped them with nausea, appetite, insomnia, pain, stress etc...would you want them to use it?? Of course.
